Cynthia Klauer-Grace, LMSW, Social Worker Chief of Operations Andrews Center Graduated from Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa with a B.A. in Social work in 1978, and completed Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1983. She has been employed at the Andrews Center Behavioral Health Services since 1994. Positions included: Social Worker for Mental Retardation Services Diagnostic Team, Social Worker for Residential Programs, Qualified Mental Health Professional, and Division Director for Mental Retardation Programs. Ms. Grace assumed the position of the Chief of Operations at the Andrews Center in 2005, and is currently responsible for clinical supervision of Mental Retardation and Mental Health Services. Ms. Grace has served on the board for the Association of Retarded Citizens and the Sisters Community Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. She also is a member of the Pilot Club of Lindale since 1999, serving as President in 2006. Ms. Grace currently resides in Lindale, Texas with her two children. Donna Mullinex, Sp. Ed. Teacher
Owner/Partner in Kids Solutions Donna has been a Special Education Teacher for 26 years and has worked with children ranging from 3-21 years of age with most of the settings being in Like Skills/Self-Contained classrooms. She has worked with students on the Autism Spectrum for over 20 years and was the PPCD/Life Skills/Autism Consultant with Tyler ISD from 2007 to 2009. She retired from the public school setting in June 2009 to form KIDS SOLUTIONS LLC along with 2 other teachers. KIDS SOLUTIONS works one on one with students with various learning difficulties including ADD, ADHA, Aspergers, Autism, Dyslexia, Gifted, & Irlen., as well as providing Social Skills classes. At KIDS SOLUTIONS Donna tutors students in Reading & Math, and preparation for the Texas State Assessments for students in all areas from 3rd grade through 8th grade. Kelle Wood Rich, M.Ed., BCBA Owner/Executive Director of Central Texas Autism Center - Austin Graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Study of Exceptional Students in 1992. She then taught Special Education in public school for 3 years. Kelle received her M.Ed. in Behavior Interventions in 1996 from The University of North Texas and returned to public school as a Crisis Interventionist, Behavior Specialist and then as the Autism Specialist for the district. She has been an associate of Dr. Vince Carbone, internationally known behavior analyst, since 1997. Kelle has more than 17 years of experience teaching children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. She has over 10 years experience assessing and developing treatment for this population of learners and over 6 years supervising teachers, therapists and consulting with school districts. She is also a member of the Texas Association for Behavior Analysis and the International Association for Behavior Analysis. Ms. Wood is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at The University of Texas. She consults with school districts throughout Texas and conducts workshops around the world training parents and professionals on how to teach people with autism utilizing the science of ABA and incorporating Skinner's Analysis of Verbal Behavior.
Barbara Wilson Mrs. Wilson received her Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Texas at Tyler and then went on to obtain her Masters in Guidance/Counseling from Stephen F Austin University and Masters in Mid-Management from University of Texas at Tyler. She has a certification in Superintendent Education from Texas A&M of Commerce. Barbara worked for the Lindale Independent School District for 25 years in the capacities of: Reading Teacher, Counselor, Assistant Principal, Curriculum Director, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent. She currently serves part-time in the Alternative Education Program for Region VII Education Service Center. She travels to 12 school districts to mentor and observe student teachers in the classroom environment. Barbara is also an educational consultant and presents workshops to teachers and administrators. Barbara is the president of Hide-A-Way Lake Kiwanis where she has been a member for 19 years and also serves on the advisory board for Breckenridge Village, a resident home for adults with special needs. She is a member of ACTION Club, a youth leadership program to assist special needs young adults by providing leadership skills and techniques. Barbara lives with her husband, James, in Lindale, Texas, has two children and six grandchildren. Recently, her youngest grandson was diagnosed with a form of autism. Cara Brown, BCABA Central Texas Autism Center - Austin, Texas Cara graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1999 with a Bachelor’s in Individual and Family Development. After graduating, she worked for Behavioral Intervention For Autistic Children (BIFAC) from 2000-2004 where she provided in-home one-to-one services to children with Autism in a verbal behavior program. She provided supervision to 4-6 staff members in a team structure and monitored completion of paperwork, composed multi-level schedules, completed multi-faceted assessments, and maintained in-home programs. Cara started working for The Horizon Clinic, under the direction of Kelle Wood M.Ed., BCBA in February of 2004 which was affiliated with the Capitol School of Austin. The Horizon Clinic closed shortly after and Cara followed Kelle Wood who opened Central Texas Autism Center (CTAC) in May of 2004. Cara received her BCABA 12/04 and currently works for CTAC consulting with school districts and presenting CTAC’s year long Trainer of Trainers for various districts through out Texas, as well as presenting at community outreach workshops. Cara maintains her hands on skills with children by providing direct therapy at the clinic and parent training-observation of the child in their home environment. Cara’s goal is to complete her masters level coursework and continue on for her BCBA.
